Gundog Training in and around Dover
Gundog coaching for handlers in and around Dover, Deal, Folkestone and the wider East Kent coast.
Dover is surrounded by varied East Kent countryside — chalk downland, river valleys inland and open farmland toward Folkestone and Deal. It is practical ground for building steadiness, recall and real-world control.
We train in and around the Dover area with sessions tailored to your dog and your goals, whether you are building foundations or refining work for the field.
Pet dogs and working gundogs
Not every handler is heading to a formal shoot. Many clients want a dog that comes back reliably, handles distraction calmly and has a job to do on a walk rather than making their own entertainment.
For handlers who do work their dogs, we can help with steadiness, hunting patterns, delivery and preparation for the season — always at a pace that protects confidence and partnership.
Practical skills we cover
Sessions can include recall, stop-to-whistle work, retrieving and delivery, hunting patterns for spaniels, steadiness around distraction and foundations for young dogs.
